Principal's Corner

Dear NHAMS Families, 

I am thrilled and humbled to be recently appointed as Principal of Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School! After serving as Principal of Harbor School for the past six years, this new leadership opportunity allows me to continue to invest my passion and commitment to serving the NLPS community. I am genuinely eager to collaborate with the exceptional faculty, staff, students, and families at Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School, as well as continue to work collaboratively, to support our district’s vision to Unite in Excellence. 

During my time as Principal at Harbor School, I have forged many partnerships with organizations that enhance and support student learning. Looking ahead to the upcoming school year at Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School, I am excited to build even more fruitful partnerships. Through my administrative experience, I have come to deeply believe in the power of collaboration, the significance of extracurricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals, and the invaluable impact of family support. As the Principal of Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School, I am committed to creating meaningful opportunities and fostering a culture of lifelong learning to ensure the success of our students. 

Theater, music production, digital music, and visual art have always held a special place in my heart. I am thrilled to contribute to the continued growth of students at Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School in these areas and beyond. I firmly believe in cultivating an engaging learning environment that focuses on individual strengths, employing a personalized learning approach that empowers every student to reach their fullest potential. 

With great anticipation, I look forward to the start of the 2023-2024 school year, ready to embark on this incredible journey with the entire Nathan Hale Arts Magnet School community. I will be moving into my new position on July 1st and look forward to meeting with you soon. Please be on the look-out for additional communications from me, announcing planned summer engagement events, whereby we can come together for a variety of activities.
